How to choose crushing machinery?

Our common crushers and pulverizers belong to crushing machines, which are machines that use mechanical force to crush solid materials and turn them into small pieces, fine powder or powder. Powder flour, crushed ore, ground pigment, dye, cement raw materials, clinker, etc. all need to use grinding machinery. So what grinding machinery should be selected for different purposes? Here, the quick screen editor will briefly introduce how the crushing machinery is classified.

Air mill

Steam, air or other gases are injected into the engine body at a certain pressure to generate high-speed rotating vortex. The material particles in the machine body rotate with the air flow at a high speed, and collision, impact and grinding occur between the particles during the rotation process, so that the materials are crushed and ground.

Ball (rod) mill

The material is in a rotating cylinder filled with grinding body. The cylinder lifts the grinding body and the material to a certain height and throws them down. The grinding body has great impact and grinding on the material, causing the material to be crushed.

Mill

Mill is also known as disk mill, which can be divided into two types: disk fixed type and disk rotating type. The materials are uniformly added from the feeding port. Due to the centrifugal force, the materials are squeezed and ground at the edge of the grinding plate under the spring pressure (or centrifugal force) and the gravity generated by the grinding itself, so that the materials are crushed and ground.

Vibrating mill

A vibrating cylinder is equipped with grinding media and materials, and the vibrating cylinder vibrates rapidly on an approximate elliptical track. The vibration of the cylinder makes the grinding medium and materials in a suspended state, and produces a small ejection impact effect. The grinding medium and materials have a grinding effect, so that the materials are crushed.

Media free mill

After entering the mill, the materials are lifted to a certain height by the lifting plate, and then fall freely to produce impact effect. The friction between materials produces grinding and stripping effect. At the same time, due to the different sizes of particles and blocks, the large materials collide with the wedge-shaped lining plate. Due to the counterattack effect of the wedge-shaped lining plate, the segregation of the axial size blocks of the materials is prevented, so that the large materials can be evenly distributed. The coarse material returned from the discharge end along the lower side also falls evenly at the center of the bottom of the barrel, and then diffuses to both sides, just like the material blocks newly added to the mill. The direction of movement of large and fine materials along the axial direction at the bottom of the cylinder body is opposite, so the grinding effect is generated, which is the grinding of materials. Medium free mill is also called autogenous mill.

Knowing the classification of crushing machinery, how do we choose crushing machinery? In addition to these large categories, each type of crushing equipment also has different products and various models. With the development of industry, there are more and more kinds. Therefore, we must pay attention to the following points when selecting:

First, it depends on the fineness you want to achieve

If the desired fineness is larger than the mung bean grain (several millimeters or more), then you should look from the coarse crusher (or crusher) category; If the fineness you want is smaller than the fineness of sesame seed to flour, you should look for it from the category of grinder; If the fineness you want is many times finer than flour, you should look for it from the category of ultra-fine grinder. According to the new national standard, the fineness of flour is actually between 100-120 mesh. The higher the mesh, the finer the powder.

Second, we should look at the nature of the materials we want to crush

Different materials need different crushing principles to deal with. For example, for materials with strong powder or brittleness, good crushing effect can be achieved as long as they are hit; However, the strong fiber (such as Chinese herbal medicine) needs to add shear or grinding function to achieve better results.

Third, we should see our own suitable output

Generally, the output is estimated by hour. If you work 8 hours a day and need a total of 500 kg of finished products, the required output is 500 / 8 = 62.5kg/h. If it is a small-scale experiment or processing, it can be considered that the hourly output is about 1-3kg, or even smaller, so choose the experimental model. The rear number in the standard crusher model refers to the size of the machine, which can reflect the output.

After selecting the products and models, we can select multiple manufacturers to test the machines to see whether the machines can meet your needs. We can compare several manufacturers to find suitable products. To learn more about crushing machinery, you can continue to pay attention to the quick screen, and hope to help you.
