Five Reasons for Surface Blackening of Aluminum Alloy Workpieces

Aluminum oxidation aluminum alloy casting is generally made by metal mold. Metal aluminum and aluminum alloy have good fluidity and plasticity, but they are easy to blacken during use. What is the matter?

1. The process design is unreasonable. Improper treatment of aluminum alloy die castings after cleaning or pressure inspection creates conditions for aluminum alloy die castings to become moldy and black, and accelerates the formation of moldy.

2. Warehouse management is not in place. When aluminum alloy die castings are stored at different heights in the warehouse, their mildew conditions are different.

3. Internal factors of aluminum alloy. Many aluminum alloy die casting manufacturers do not do any cleaning treatment after the die casting and machining processes, or simply flush with water, which can not be completely cleaned. There are still mold release agents, cutting fluid, saponified liquid and other corrosive substances and other stains on the surface of die casting aluminum, which accelerate the growth of mold spots and blackening of aluminum alloy die castings.

4. External environmental factors of aluminum alloy. Aluminum is an active metal, which is easily oxidized and blackened or mildewed under certain temperature and humidity conditions, which is determined by the characteristics of aluminum itself.

5. Improper cleaning agent. The selected cleaning agent is highly corrosive, causing corrosion and oxidation of die cast aluminum.
