About the balance of torsion springs of industrial doors

With the development of industrial economy, people have higher and higher requirements for industrial doors. The higher the requirements of adaptability and rationality from the balance accuracy and manufacturing process of the drive system. Here are some small problems of torsion spring balance in the industrial door balance system.

1、 Torsion spring balance is the principle that the weight of the door body is balanced by the torsion torque of the torsion spring. Theoretically speaking, large industrial doors can be balanced with torsion springs. However, in practice, it is difficult to meet the standard requirements due to the influence of the material and manufacturing process of the spring.

2、 When the area and weight of the door are increased, the diameter of the torsion spring and the diameter of the steel wire will be thickened, which will affect the sensitivity of the balance of the torsion spring and increase the difficulty in adjustment.

3、 The installation of torsion spring balance on the door opening with large height width ratio increases the difficulty in the design of torsion spring balance due to the width limitation. The required torsion spring size is also difficult to manufacture, which greatly increases the cost.

4、 In large industrial doors, several torsion spring groups or transmission shafts are usually used, which will increase friction and reduce balance effect.

5、 After a long time of work, the torsion spring balance will produce a certain degree of fatigue force loss, which will make the original balance state with the door body unbalanced and increase the working load of the motor.
