This paper briefly introduces the troubleshooting of three-phase asynchronous motor

In daily life, three-phase asynchronous motors are widely used, but with the length of their operation time, some fault problems will occur. If you know some common maintenance methods, the service life of the motor will be greatly improved. The following is a brief introduction to the measures taken in case of fault of three-phase asynchronous motor.

(1) Ask the operator about the operation before the fault, the process of the fault and the phenomenon of the fault, and learn about the type and specification of the three-phase asynchronous motor, the operation characteristics of the equipment and the maintenance.

(2) On site inspection: observe the accident site and check whether the three-phase asynchronous motor has obvious damage, overheating, flexible rotor rotation and abnormal sound.

(3) Check the insulation, measure the insulation resistance of the winding and the insulation resistance of the winding to the ground with a megger, and check whether there is phase to phase short circuit or grounding.

(4) If no detailed problems are found through the inspection of the above methods, the motor can be operated at no-load, and the fault can be further analyzed and judged by listening to the sound, smell and test voltage, current and speed. First determine whether the fault occurs in the mechanical or electromagnetic aspects, so as to narrow the scope of the fault, then analyze and check the possible parts of the fault, and eliminate the fault as soon as possible.

It should be noted that in the fourth step, in order to prevent the expansion of the fault or the occurrence of accidents, attention must be focused. In case of any abnormal situation, the power supply shall be cut off and the vehicle shall be stopped immediately.
